Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I have an allergy or a dietary restriction. Can you accommodate?
A: We can easily make any ice cream cake dairy free or gluten free. Our dairy free ice cream is made with coconut milk. Please inquire further about other allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences and we will do what we can :) 

Q: Do you deliver in the LA area?
A: We don’t yet deliver. Cakes can be picked up at our DTLA home. 

Q: I’m worried about the cake melting on the way home.
A: Trust us when we say these cakes are frozen solid. We’ve driven about 1.5 hours without them melting. If you’re going further, or particularly worried, I’d recommend bringing a cooler for the cake. 

Q: I don’t live in LA. Do you ship out of LA?
A: No, unfortunately not. We will let you know if this changes :) 

Q: What’s the best way to serve and cut the cakes?
A: Thaw each cake for about an hour before serving. The top layer should be soft. Use as big of a knife as you’ve got. Running the knife over warm water helps. 

Q: Do you do wedding cakes or big events?
A: Right now, our largest cake is 8 inches. We can accommodate an order of two, 8 inch cakes at most. That’s enough to serve about 30 people.

Q: Are the cakes organic?
A: We use organic, local ingredients whenever possible. If organic is particularly important to you, please note it in your cake quiz.
